Trying to move FTTP provider

Hi
I'm currently getting fibre through Plusnet, having been on a FTTP trial and would like to move to BT. When I try to submit an order on the BT web site, it continually fails.

Having spoken to BT, I was told that Plusnet have some open order on the line, which was causing the issue. Plusnet denied this and said the issue was on the BT end. After loads of calls, I was eventually advised by BT to cancel Plusnet and then apply for BT as brand new order (as opposed to any sort of transfer)

I'm worried I'll be without broadband for a while if I do this. Any suggestions please?

Have to spoken to the FTTP team on 0800 587 4787, as they are the only people that may be able to help, as the BT people that run this forum, cannot help with FTTP orders.

As FTTP changeovers are just a change in routing and billing, I cannot see there should be any significant outage time.

There may not be any option but to cancel Plusnet, then place an order with BT Retail.
