But TalkTalk also sold off its BT-attached ADSL to Fleur Telecom. I know, they dumped me. Which is why I am on BT. A lot better than TalkTalk.

@neilallen,

 

Are you having problems with your landline or broadband? If it the landline are you getting any noise on the line? Can you connect to the test socket behind the master faceplate and dial 17070 option 2?

Hi

I have the same problem my Landline would receive calls but I could not make calls, It was fixed over the net but the problem came back, the bt guy came tested the line and all was fine.

I feel I would be better off with Virgin as they do not charge you when they are called out, my wife checked to see if she could make out going calls and got the same problem.

So If my line goes dead again I cannot afford to call the guy again.

 

I brought a new phone to braek down where the fault was.

 

So for me virgin looks the better bet.
