Hi, when I took out contract a few months back I was promised a *free* upgrade to Full Fibre. FF is now available, and BT have invited me to upgrade, but only if I pay at least an extra £3 / month. Am I missing something?

Are you a Halo 3+ customer ?
Not as far as I know. ‘Fibre 2’ is all it says for my contract.
The 'Full Fibre Promise' is a Halo 3+ benefit, more info at https://www.bt.com/halo3plus/
If you're a Fibre 2 customer you can upgrade to full fibre at anytime but there can be extra costs to do so, you said you were quoted £3, which seems about right.
Thanks - but my point is, I was promised a free upgrade.

If you think you were given incorrect info, you can contact the sales team on 0800 800 150, request they listen to the call, you'll then be contacted regarding the outcome.
Free full fibre upgrades is a Halo 3+ benefit, no other packages include the promise.
Thanks Richie, perfect answer, much appreciated.
I believe it's available on fibre 2 as well now, what packqge was £3 more though? The upgrade is to FF100
My mistake - it was £4 / month to upgrade to FF100 from my current F2
