We have very recently upgraded our broadband from Fibre 2 to Fibre with Halo 3. The new deal we got is advertised as coming with a Smart Hub 2, as opposed to the older Smart Hub we had.
So far, there have been no comms from BT about the replacement Hub, will this automatically be sent or do we need to request it?
New hubs are only sent when your existing equipment wouldn't work, Halo 3 doesn't come with anything that has a Smart Hub 2 as a requirement.
Halo 3+ includes Complete Wi-Fi and a Hybrid Connect, both require the Smart Hub 2.
Unless you were sent a bespoke offer, your Smart Hub 1 is fine for Halo 3, more info at www.bt.com/halo
