Our community has just signed a contract with Openreach to deliver FTTH/FTTP within 12 months.
My current contract is due for renewal, but if I take out a 24-month BT contract for ADSL broadband now, will I be able to upgrade my current contract to FTTH as soon as FTTH is available?
I'm anticipating there may be an installation charge, and I accept the monthly payment might change depending on what speed I choose, but I don't want to get hit with an early cancellation charge.
Yes you can upgrade at any time with out cancellation charges. It will incur a new contract.
It is cancelling or trying to down grade that causes charges.
