A couple of posts up I reported that my hub had picked up a new IP address and I wondered if that meant my usage would now be reported. Interestingly, yes the monitor is now updating usage as well as the date.
That is most interesting. I wonder if a solution to this problem, should it reoccur, is simply a hub restart. Would that force a new IP and get it running again?
Rebooting the hub works now but didn't during the period of my unmonitored usage when my IP address changed a couple of times. I suspect that the BT team have changed something to make the system work again. Of course, there remains the question of who, if anyone, was being charged for my usage when BT didn't attribute it to me?
