Why do BT not offer 'freebies' to existing customers?

Deals exist for existing customers which include an Xbox console, Amazon Echo's, reward cards and Samsung tablets, it all depends on the promotion running at the time, sometimes it's upgrades, sometimes gifts, the promotions vary.

In over 25 years I have never been offered anything - that is my gripe here.

When a new customer joins, they get a special introductory offer, you would of had yours over 25 years ago, every company has a price for new customers, then a price after, BT have recently added tech gifts for new customers, deals also exist for existing customers which include tech gifts, there are loads of mentions on the forum of customers asking when the reward card is sent after a renewal.

I also can't think of any company that doesn't allow you to negotiate a new promotion in return for a new minimum term.

You will not be "offered" anything. You will only get the "offers" if you ask and even then don't count on getting anything substantial without telling and being prepared to leave BT if you don't get what you want.
