Why have they changed my date to activate my phone line

Hi does anyone know why they have deactivated my broadband connection when I asked to add a house phone to my broadband account as I got this message and don't understand it 

Hello, BT here. We're sorry, but we need to change the date that some of your services will start or stop.
Your broadband start date is changing from 13-Feb-2026 to 16-Feb-2026.
Services can start/stop any time up to 23:59 on their start/stop date.
Please go to bt.com/ordertracking to find out more. You'll need your order reference *********. Or call us on 0330 1234 150.

If you have a broadband only contract with BT you cannot just add phone to your contract but need to start a new broadband and phone contract.  This will have PAYG with phone or you can add an unlimited call package for £18pm or less with some negotiation
