Wrong postcode on second line

Hi, was wondering if anyone can help. I had a second line installed many years ago but BT put the wrong postcode on so not the same as my main line. I have asked BT to change it several times over the years but it's never done. I use this line for the internet and as I want to get fibre I am having trouble because of the postcode. Can anyone please help?

Hi @Wendy7 welcome to the forum and sorry your lines are on different postcodes and this is stopping you getting fibre broadband.

Firstly can you confirm the phone lines are active and you are paying BT the rental for your lines.

Check on Royal Mail that your address is correctly listed with them.

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes both phones are active and have been for many years and am paying line rental on both to BT. 

I have checked the Royal Mail which has my address listed correctly.
