activating a NEW account

Hello having rejoined BT I am now having a problem activating my new account ,I used to be with BT but then went onto Plusnet but continued using the BT portal for watchng tv programmes online.The email /username is the same one but i want to activate my new BT  account which is now different .Does anyone have any suggestions ? Thanks

i managed to activate new account but no await to see if both account numbers appear or just the new one
