new package, wrong bill

I agreed a new 18 month contract yesterday,Jan2nd, that commenced today. My quarterly bill was produced yesterday and does not have the new package charges. This amounts to an overpayment of almost £50. I have been told that this bill cannot be changed and I will have to wait until my next quarterly bill for the refund. This does not seem fair. How can I get the bill reissued?

Welcome to this user forum.

I don`t think you can. It will be corrected on your  next bill. You could always change to monthly billing if it suits you better?

Once a bill is raised that's it, next quarter it will automatically recalculate and refund you what you were advanced bill.

It's just unlucky timing that the bill was produced on the day the new promotion started, some bills calculate 5 days prior and then run on the normal bill date.
