sim only deal

HI Community

Had a BT mobile contract which ended 18 September 2021 after 2 years.  Now want to go to a sim only deal - especially to a deal for 40GB for £10,  but  won't let me upgrade to sim only deal as it states that to 'call back once they are in their recontracting window'.  As far as I'm aware I'm no longer in a contract? or I'm I wrong?  I just want to reduce my payment in my BT package or do have to wait until my BT package contract ends in January 2022?  so confused!!!

Your broadband contract isn't tied to the BT mobile, if the handset deals has ended you can switch from the last 30 days to a sim only.

Might be worth ringing the Loyalty or Value team on 0800 800 150, they can do the order for you.
