unable to access my account

Hi,
I have just joined BT .
I have BT infinity and set up for paperless billing during my order.
Every things up and running just fine.
Got email from BT saying my online bill is ready.
So I log into my BT account no probe so far.
Then it tells me I need to verify my email account.
Press button to send link my inbox ok so far.
Said receive email press link to verify email.
Takes me to log in page....log in ECT...
Then same message "unable to verify your email address due to technical issue"
How can I pay my online bill if I can't see it
Very frustrated please help..:-]

There may be a technical problem so best to try again tomorrow (if you haven't tried before today that is). If you still get no joy ask Live Chat for advice - they are usually more sensible than the telephone helpdesk.

I have tried now for a week still same problems
Already used live chat earlier today an BT agent was very nice a reset everything for me
But still problem continues...
Can't pay my bill if I can't see it...
BT PLEASE SORT OUT YOU TECHNICAL ISSUE ..
all I want to do is pay my bill ontime if this is possible.:]

Although the mods oversee the forum they do not necessarily pick up on every post. Best to fill out the form here: Contact BT Care Team. They are usually very busy and may take a few days to respond but will be able to sort this out for you.

Dont worry about it. I just logged in to find out that I did not have either telephone or broadband listed oin my account. Does that mean I don't have to pay? Or does it mean that either the system has lost my details or someone forgot to post them? I have been a BT customer since before they were called BT - when it was run by the GPO - and we got great service then and usually ist still the same. Anyone else had a problem?
