unable to change broadband package

my broadband contract is about to end, due to changes in circumstance I can no longer afford to renew, I would like to stay with BT and tried to down grade to Fibre 2 but was quoted £66.30 which is a lot more than  Fibre with BT Halo 1 my present package which is £50.93 have i got to change provider to get a cheaper deal, Id rather stay with BT

You should be able to downgrade to any package you want. Call 0800.800.030 and tell them you want Infinity 1. It costs about £30 odd a month.
