30 day wait to add new device - yet another post

I could not access my bttv channels in the app, as it said I had already registered 2 devices, even though the device I was trying to use was one of the registered ones! I deleted the device I was using and now I'm told to wait 30 days!! I have read numerous other posts here all with the same issue. Why oh why does BT make this so difficult? Wasting my time having to post here, waste a helper's time telling me how to forward my details and waste the TV team's time having to deal with it. Please could someone tell me how to forward my details to have this issue dealt with?
