Re: Advice please on anti-virus software, including BT Virus Protect
My advice and that of others on the forum would be to not use or even consider using BT Virus Protect. It can cause problems on some computers and is a resource hog. Do a search of the forum to see the problems. It always seems to be just one update away from another problem.
I would also only use Windows Defender/Antivirus as a last resort.
There are far better free antivirus programs available such as Avast Free and AVG Free.
