BT Cloud App does never complete sync

I have had the BT Cloud app installed and running on my Mac mini for many months.

Despite the app showing only 20% of 200Gb used and showing the scanning various folders on my Mac the sync never ever seems to complete!

Other similar apps from Dropbox, Box, One Drive and Google Drive only resync when files are added, removed or changed.  Not only does the BT Cloud app continually use significant resources but at no stage have all my files been available using a browser.

My Mac is currently running MacOS 10.13.6 (latest version of High Sierra). I have maximum 16Gb of ram installed, plenty of free storage space both on the cloud storage and my Mac.
