Why has there been no response from anyone that actually knows what’s happening, this hasn’t worked since middle of September.

 

HELLO BT!  WHATS GOING ON?  ARE YOU NOT BOTHERED OR JUST UNINTERESTED THAT THE CLOUD APP DOESN'T WORK?

Hi Everybody

Just received a letter today Wednesday 4th from BT in Update on my complaint from 10th of October.

I must admit they have phoned on a few occasions telling me the have not fixed it yet and this confirms it. For a huge company like BT this is very poor service.

@Noz 

BT is required to send you that letter once your complaint has been open for 56 days to advise you of your option to take your complaint outside of BT to the Ombudsman. The Ombudsman will only look into the customer service side of things and won't be able to help speed up the resolution of the Cloud issue.

Might as well bin the letter for all it's worth 😒

Thanks for posting about the dysfunctional BTCLOUD app.

As I’ve said before this is actually a customer service issue and needs to be escalated to the HIGHEST LEVEL.

According to @SpiderPig ,

WRONG (with all due respect)!

The BTCLOUD  feature is part of a highly promoted BT customer WiFi service and it has not been working for a long time. Some complainants have been “compensated” with a paltry £15 one off sum.

Others have not.
The ombudsman and even the ASA need to know about this problem.

This level of service is simply not good enough for BT.

What is 19.8.27 we have the problem with BT Cloud 13.2 where it is still crashing and has for sometime now that is the latest software update, this is where the problem lies.

the 19.8.27 what software is that to allow your BT CLOUD TO WORK?

19.8.27 is the BT Cloud version on the Apple App Store.

go to your App Store and update your BT Cloud app.

Done mine and everything looks ok.

I have just gone to my Bt Cloud app and updated to 19.8.27 and finally it is working as it should do, at last so thank you to the previous person for advising what to do.

it is so nice to have BT Cloud working as it should be.

Hi @Sheila70 @Noz @Mcclegend ,

Yes, it is working but for some reason it doesn’t copy/upload my edited photos properly.

Very haphazard.

Eg a few photos with text captions on them are lost in the BT CLOUD upload.
Whilst the photos are uploaded from my iPad photos, the text caption on the photo is not copied but only the photo is.

Can anyone explain why this happens?
Most annoying.

It does however upload a b/w photo converted from a colour one.

But for some reason text overlaid on the original photo is not copied.😒
