Just updated my Apple iPad to the latest update iOS 13.1.2 on 10/10/19
Opened BT Cloud no problem. Tapped on one of my pictures and it just crashed. Tried again and same thing.
Read some old replies regarding problems. Suggestion was to delete app and start again.
Deleted app and tried to open but now it will not open.
This problem is only with iOS 13.1.2 no problem with Android.
Does BT know there is a problem with this.
Welcome to the Community and thanks for taking the time to post.
Sorry to hear that you are having problems with accessing BT Cloud on an Apple device after updating the IOS.
I know this might sound slightly odd because the issue is only happening on IOS devices but can you check to make sure that BT Cloud (https://btcloud.bt.com) is added to your 'Always allow' list within Parental Controls?
Just checked parental controls and it was off for BT Cloud.
Added for always show and rebooted iPad.
Still got same problem everything comes up but as soon as you click on picture it crashes back to home screen.
Wife has same on her iPad.
Does your iPad have a 3g/4g data connection which you could try and use to connect to the internet rather than your broadband connection?
You could also try and hot spot from a mobile phone if your iPad doesn't have a SIM Card.
No 3G / 4g only wi-fi connection.
Only use iPad in house.
Don’t have iPhone only android phone which is working perfect for BT cloud.
Perfect thanks for trying that out.
It sounds like there may be a setting in the background causing the problem.
Do you have time to call the BT Cloud help desk on 0800 500 3114 (9am to 9pm Mon - Fri 9am to 6.30pm Sat and Sun) this should be a quick fix for them?
Hello All +Noz
I am totally and completely disillusioned with the BT cloud app.
I am using an iPad with the latest software update iPadOS 13.1.2 so there should be no problem with my kit.
I have downloaded the BT CLOUD app but every time I select a photo from my Apple’s photos to upload to BT cloud, one gets “files being uploaded...” but when I check to see whether the photo is uploaded IT IS NEVER THERE. I have tried uploading video clips with absolutely no success whatsoever.
Don’t tell me I’ve run out of memory space!! I have use 0 bytes of my 200GB BT CLOUD allowance!
I have carefully enabled settings on the bt cloud app to store videos, photos, documents etc.
I have even rung up BT help on numerous occasions speaking to several members of the technical team in India with no success.
So come on BT cut out all the advertised hype about BT CLOUD being so wonderful!
It simply does NOT work! Is this a complete con? Can other BT customers use it with success?
I am waiting for good, intelligent answers not apologies with no fixes!
