I am prompted to perform this update every time I log in to the app but it always fail with the error message "Could not execute the application updater component. The file may be missing or corrupted."
I see a lot of other messages here about problems with this update. Could I get some advice on the best course of action please.
I had the same issue - I phoned up BT and they (eventually) explained that it's because I'd updated to Sierra before updating BT Cloud, and the older version of BT CLoud wasn't compatible with Sierra, which meant the update program wasn't running.
The solution they gave me was to download the latest version of BT Cloud from https://bt.com/cloud/download/, and to install it over the top of the old version. This worked for me, and haven't run into any other issues so far.
