BT Netprotect

Hi,

I am wondering if someone could help me ?

On Tuesday i signed up for further 12 months line rental and infinity. But yesterday my computer crashed and i had to do a factoty restall. But when i sign in to my bt account and go down to the extras it says there is an error and my extras aren't available. So now i can't install netprotection again.

I did call BT yesterday and the gentleman said it would all be up and running today.

You should wait and see if it is up and running today, there is still plenty time for it to be fixed. If it's not fixed today post back later.

 

My advice and that of others on the forum would be not to use BTNetprotect. It can cause problems on some computers and is a resource hog. Do a search of the forum to see the problems. There are far better free antivirus programs available such as Avast Free and AVG Free.

Thanks for the reply.
I have always used Mcafee and never had any problems.
And for the past year I have used the BT net protect.
Just a shame I can't put it back on yet.
I will put one of the free ones you mentioned on for now.

If you do get BTNetprotect showing on your MY Extras and decide to install it, remember to fully remove which ever one you have installed meantime first or it will cause a conflict with BTNetprotect.

Hi,

I still can't get any of the extras to load up in my account.

It just says there is a error.

Any ideas whats going on ?

I have notified the moderators of the forum about your problem. Once they have read this they may be able to help.
