I noticed yesterday my iPad allowed content that should have not been displayed because I had already set BT Parental Controls to ON
I checked and switched them off and on and then checked again today
My Desktop PC browser clearly shows content is not allowed and confirms BT Parental Controls in ON but when I tested my iPad my browser allowed content through
How can this happen if both are using the same broadband in my home?
My a/c shows the below (I played around with the time settings but this made no difference on mp iPad)
I suspect that it has to associate your public IP address, with your account. If this association gets out of step, like when the hub disconnect or restarts, then this may stop it working for a while.
I have switched off and on my bthub, iPad and desktop and BT Parental Controls are not working on either device
All seems to be working now
So it appears that after rebooting my by bthub I takes a few days to sort itself out or BT made a change somewhere, I will never know
