This is a customer help customer forum and your post does not go to BT although the forum moderators are BT employees they don't necessarily read all the post

During setup I mistyped my mobile phone number and now the app doesn't let me complete the setup.
I already contacted the support team by mobile and after being re-directed 7 times no one has been able to help me.
Can you please terminate any BT SmartTalk application you may have on BT system against my account number?
You will have to uninstall the app, and start again.
Already did that and it doesn't work.
BT needs to cancel the pending order in their system.
Is this your first activation of SmartTalk, or are you just adding a new user?
Are there any active users shown against your account on MyBT.
