BT TV Recording License Usage

Go to solution
I like the idea of setting recordings through the BT TV App on my phone but don't want to use one of the device licences. Is there any way around this?

No. See link about registering devices.

I do know about device limits but Sky used to have a separate app for managing the box and for streaming so I thought there may be a less obvious way to do it with BT. Is there a suggestion box anywhere?

Why don't you use the Youview App to set recordings on your phone instead of the BT TV App.  (The Youview app doesn't currently handle channel 434 BT Sports UHD but does all other channels)
