BT Virus Protect

I had BT Virus protect successfully installed and working on my laptop.  It mysteriously disappeared, I have reinstalled (4 times now) but I get a message stating it is deactivated.  At a loss what to do.  Any help greatly appreciated.

Re: BT Virus Protect

start by uninstalling BT protect using the native uninstaller, then download the MCPR tool from the McAfee website. Restart your machine and install Avast or AVG, they're both available for free and both are miles better than BT Protect which is McAfee under another name
