BT Virus Protect

I've tried the workaround to switch from McFee to Norton, but every time I click on the link it starts to do the change and then stops with a red warning, server error please try later, I'm using the standard windows & AVG free as an emergency backup, but how long before the problem gets fixed and I can upgrade to Norton.

Re: BT Virus Protect

Why do you see the Microsoft Defender and AVG free as an "emergency backup".  Either of these products on their own will provide the vast majority of users sufficient protection for their computer.

In case you are not aware, you should not have more than one AV product on your device as it can cause conflicts.

Because you have AVG on your computer you will find that Microsoft AV will be automatically turned off.

Before trying to install Norton you should uninstall AVG and any other AV program that is on your device.
