I recently upgraded my Samsung phone. I previously used the BT Wifi app on my old Samsung phone with no issues. I also use it on my work mobile (iPhone) with no issues. But now when I try to use the app on my new Samsung phone it comes up with an error saying "Incorrect log-in details". As a test, I uninstalled/reinstalled this app on my iPhone and I was able to login again with no issues, using my usual BT login details, so I know these are correct. Why are these not being recognised on my new Samsung phone?
Hey @LesleyG , it does suggest an issue with your latest Samsung and the app since the other phones work fine. The easiest way to try and get logged in on it is to change your password for your BT login details. Try that first before messing about with your new phone too much.
Thank you - that worked! When I successfully logged in on my new phone, I got the following message "Login changes - Google have changed how things work in the latest android version, so we've altered how our app behaves to keep you logged into BT Wi-Fi hotspots" . I guess this must be linked to the issue I had.
