Go to solution

I've just started using bt cloud, but i would like to use a password other than my bt em & mybt password, can i set up a different password. It seems to defeat the object of being a secure way to store things.

Welcome to this user forum.

No, it has to be the same password which is associated with MyBT. You could of course change your MyBT password if you think your account has been compromised.

"No, it has to be the same password which is associated with MyBT. "

I've returned to this post.

OK so are you saying that the password for BT cloud has to be the password for my primary email account & MYbt.I think your answer will be yes.If it is, it will therefore be pointless in creating a new email address, which i was thinking of trying, with a new password & trying to use the new password for the cloud.

If all that is correct what is the point of the cloud,bt anyway,i thought it was a way of adding more security for various things.
