Blocking you tube app on the hub?

I want to block You Tube access from the hub level but on n parental controls you can only block a website not an app so it doesn't stop usage of the You Tube app. Could anyone tell me if it is possible to block an app please?

Re: Blocking you tube app on the hub?

i have successfully blocked YouTube by adding the following urls to the blocked list.

youtube.com

only issue is that if you allow for a short time by turning off parental controls it obviously removes all other safeguards.

it would be a great feature if you could turn off blocked sites only temporarily.

Re: Blocking you tube app on the hub?

Hi. you have to use several addresses to block across app etc.

www.youtube.com

  • googlevideo.com

  • ytimg.com

  • youtu.be

  • apis.google.com

  • gstatic.com

There maybe more since I last updated the list, because google own youtube now theye push out under various address.

Good luck as I know your pain.
