Broadband reward card claim

Anyone having a problem with the link to claim the £150 reward card for signing up to broadband? They keep emailing and texting to say I haven't claimed yet the link to the page says it's being improved and will take a few days. I've been trying for nearly 2 weeks...

Bizarrely for a communication company BT'S online presence is dire. 

Best just to ring them, but grab a copy of war and peace to read while you're waiting for a pretty clueless operative to answer.

Did that, with a different book on my lap ready to wage war, delightfully answered within 5 minutes and advised I'm in my cooling off period and will have to wait until 26th to claim. Whole call less than 10 minutes. Would have been avoided although if they said that from the start...

It does actually state that in the following link that you need to wait 14 days after install.

Eligible Broadband customers:

  • Once we know you’re happy with your service (this is usually 14 days after installation of your broadband), your reward will be sent to you. As long as you’ve claimed, there’s nothing else you have to do.

Well it doesn't say that in the multiple texts and emails telling me I still haven't claimed yet.... They shouldn't send them
