Every time i look at my BT Cloud dashboard the circular arrow is constanley revolving on back up, look at sync it says unable to sync with some files and will try later, any ideas what is going wrong?

Have you tried calling the BT Cloud Technical Helpdesk. They can be called directly on 0800 500 3114 from 9am to 9pm Monday - Friday and 9am to 6.30pm Saturday and Sunday.
They should be able to advise on how to get this resolved.
Why have an online forum if the answer is always to contact BT on the phone number? You could take a leaf out of others companies by actually helping people online be it a live chat or over forums!
It's 2018, practically 2019 if people wanted to contact BT by phone they would phone them and deal with their poor customer service not post online asking for help!
