Can I and how do I connect to BT Home Hub with my Laptop when it is one of the available connections when working away from home, It normaly asks for a Password.
It won't be you're Home Hub that's available but someone elses, you can only connect to you're own Hub when your at home.
Everyone's Hub is secured with a Wireless key, your only option is to connect to BTFON or BT Openzone when your away from home.
Unless they take their security key off which, in my view i don't see ANYONE Doing that. they might of if they don't have a key on their hub, so they are mad :smileyhappy:
Yup, join BT Fon. Not without some frustration, but you should be able to log on wherever there's a hotspot, even overseas. If you got BT internet after a certain date, you are already a member. If not, then opt in. Full details are on the BT Fon home page. As a further bonus, you will be ablle to use your laptop as a phone, using the Softphone thing.
