Bt dual band wi-si extender 750

Go to solution

Hi all i was wondering if anyone can help me with this I got this extender today to reach to the back bedroom as the signal there is poor, I set it up near the router like suggested had the lights go on and then pressed the wps button on router and then on the extender it all set up fine, just red light saying to close to router which i expected there so i moved it to the landing which is halfway between router and the room with bad signal.

When the extender is powered on now it does nothing and the WPS light just stays on and have a blue light on the power but nothing else to say good range or anything and cant connect to the extender I tried to reset it so I could start again it said to make sure extender is plugged in and press down the reset button I did this and nothing has changed

Any help or do you think its a faulty one as I cant seem to get it to reset

Thank you

Angela

@Angela230787 Welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. After pressing the reset button did you move the extender closer to the hub and follow the set up process again?

Re: Bt dual band wi-si extender 750

@Angela230787 I'm afraid the user guide doesn't mention that, I presume it should go back to the default settings like it was prior to you setting it up.

1. Make sure the extender is plugged in and switched on.

2. Press the Reset button for 1 second to restore factory default settings.

If that's not working I would recommend you contact the helpdesk using the contact details I posted earlier.
