I cannot connect to BT cloud.
A fully up to date windows 8.1 machine working off a home network with a gigabit switch. BT cloud installs but fails to connect giving the same error message.
"Cannot connect to service check your network connection."
I have tried re installing and also followed the link from a previous thread with what appears to be the same problem and updated the security certificate. no help. I have checked the Firewall and it should let BTCloud through.
No problem with any other internet services.
Seems to be a problem for a few people. Any suggestions?
PS Does the fact Windows 8.1 forces an install of Microsoft cloud have anything to do with this ?
If you are still experiencing this error send me an email using the contact the mods link in my profile.
Claire from customer services has sent me an email.
it does not allow replies so I have to post here.
I think there is a misunderstanding. BT Cloud is not working on my desktop PC running standard Windows 8 desktop NOT windows mobile.
I can access MyBT from the computer . I downloaded the BT cloud app to the PC and it apparently installed. Whenever I click on the BT Cloud icon it starts then shuts down saying no connection. I get no chance to input either my user name or password.
The link you sent was of no use at all.
I still do not have access to BT Cloud and the matter is not resolved
Sorry about that, I'll let Claire know you've posted back on here. She's due in the office this afternoon.
Claire said thanks very much for taking the time to chat with her!
If you're having any problems after having spoken with the Cloud team you can always post back on this thread and she'll give you a shout back
All the best,
The cloud team say that there is an update for the software due that will solve the problem. It is meant to be out anytime now. According to them it will automaticallly install and should fix the problem.
So far not arrived so i am still waiting.
