I have a late 2011 Intel iMac. Granted I added more ram upto 12GB but that wont affect BT Cloud.

 

Yes, I have now uploaded 20GB of photos into my 50GB limit and all went well. Granted it took about 5 hours but it was all done satisfactorily.

 

I am using a Type B Home Hub 3.

 

Your problem is potentially that the BT Cloud software for Apple is not supported for your machine.

There should be no reason why this won't work for you.
