Download Anti Virus

Hi

I'm trying to download my free antivirus software but when I go into "Your Security" and click on Manage in the BT Virus Protect section I get

The resource you are looking for has been removed, had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi @mckeown_paul welcome to the community, I'm sorry to see you're having problems downloading BT Virus protect. Is your BT ID in the same format as an email address or just a name? Don't post the actual BT ID.

It's just a name

@mckeown_paul You'll need to change your BT ID to an email address. You can do it by logging into MyBT then clicking on 'Your details'

There was a campaign a number of years ago to get everyone to update it to an email address with a pop-up every time you logged into MyBT but updating it now should fix that for you.

I can't remember ever beign asked to change my account name to an email but never mind all fixed now and thanks for the really prompt replies!
