Free 6 month Xbox Game pass is a BT scam

A few months ago I upgraded to full fiber 500, as part of the package I should have received a code for a free Game pass for 6 months, every time I try to do it in the BT app or on the bt website, I get a message that the service is unavailable at the moment and I have to contact customer service. Last week I called customer service where two BT advisors had no idea how to solve my problem, I was told that someone would contact me within five days with a code for a free Game Pass, over a week has passed and no one has contacted me. Apparently, the free Game pass from the Bt ad is just a scam.

The game pass is not a scam as many posts on the forum will confirm

Normally you access MYBT using web browser not app and then find content partners and the link should be there
