I have set up Norton Password Manager, Vault and set up a login with a generated secure password. It all seems to be working. Norton even prompts me when I connect my camera to download photos. I have the Norton symbol at the top right hand side of my screen

How do I do to open the login site using the generated password?

I cannot see a a way, in the vault, to open the login site using the generated password.

If I go to the login site, via my browser, it has the pre Norton password.

How do I get Norton and/or the site to use the generated password?

What am I not doing correctly? Please provide, simple, idiot proof guidance!

Any advice will be gratefully received.

Can you post a few screen shots of the journey you're taking so the community will have an idea on what the problem might be?

I have tried to send you screen shots but they are too big for your system to cope with!

I have no idea how to make them smaller!

I don't use Norton, but I suspect you are trying to use 2 password managers, your browser's built in manager and Norton. You can only use one.

More by luck than judgement I have worked out how to open a website via Norton; what a 'faff'.

1. click Norton icon at top right of screen

2. Select Vault.

3. On bottom line of website Login box select the 'wheel' icon

4. Select 'go to site'.

5, Bingo - site opens using Norton password!
