If you already have Norton on your PC do you still need to add the BT Norton Virus Protect ?

It is not clear from the BT blurb that if you have Norton as a private individual - whether you need to install the  BT Norton application . I am guessing not but would appreciate a definitive answer before the 31st March

Thanks

I should think you would have to yes.

The reason being the licence, when yours comes to an end you will be required to pay to renew it

Thanks for the prompt response - I have Norton on a number of machines and devices and the fact I have had it for several years. I am assuming the BT offer provides all the same functionality

My knowledge of Norton products is sketchy at best, all I can say is that I installed it on an old laptop I play around with and found that enabling the Norton Safe Search extension on that one machine changed the way my browser loaded and operated on a machine that I didn't install it on so I'm guessing it works at BT Account level

Its not a question of need, its a question of want. Do you wish to continue using and paying for Norton as a private individual, then the answer is no. If you wish to take advantage of the free offer for BT's flavour of Norton, then yes, you will need to install the BT version.
