Error "cannot establish secure connection" when trying to access MyBT on a mobile device
Not sure if this is the correct section to post this - but BT's online chat passed me thru' 3 different operators none of whom has any idea what's causing this!
Recently I cannot access MyBT logging in via the webpage on a mobile phone. In the past this worked fine and other websites with online accounts still have no problems - just the BT one
Error says cannot establish a secure connection (using wifi to connect via my BT broadband) Then comes the message in the browser "the web page at https//signin1.bt.com/siteminderagent/forms/login.fcc might be
temporarily down or moved to another address..."
I can access my account fine via a PC (using ethernet connection) and as it happens this uses Google Chrome - the Samsung Galaxy note mobile phone has a default browser which looks more like IE. And surprise, surprise trying an old IE browser on the PC I can't connect there either!
What's going on since its only the BT site which has this problem!!!
PS: seems to have started about the time the new MyBT mobile app was released - coincidence?
i too can not access my bt via iphone app i get code 1003-v5 or c1 i have 2 iphones 1 has ios9 amd the other has ios7.2 (work phone ) and are unable to access my bt on either
still can not get in today but now got a new error code 'error:s1' aint life grand
I'm having the same problem too - For me it is any web browser I have tried.
I've tried - Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Firefox and Opera - All the same.
Is anyone else able to login at the moment ??
