My BT App - new iOS version 8.2.3 - missing ‘Your WiFi Network’ option

The My BT app has just been updated to version 8.2.3. I’ve just updated it on my iPhone and it no longer has the ‘Your WiFi Network’ option which was previously available to BT Plus customers who have BT Complete WiFi and is required for setting up new discs and monitoring/managing the mesh network.

Anyone on here from BT have any advice on how the Complete WiFi Network can now be managed?

That’s worrying

Still on 8.1.4 here, and working as expected.

If it does update then any changes will be noted.

Just to add...

I've spoken to the BT help desk and all they could suggest was a Factory Reset (which I declined). I did a full restart of the network but that hasn't restored the missing functionality.

The previous version of the App was working perfectly before I updated an hour or so ago, so I'm not wanting to face the aggro of a Factory Reset which I doubt will have any effect.

According to BT my account does show correctly that I have Complete Wifi, it's just not being reflected in the new version of the app.

I've also tried rebooting my iOS devices, which didn't help.

I can still view the status of my network via a web browser, but it would be good if the App could regain its previous ability to view/manage the Network.

Things must be slower here, but the My Bt app has just been updated to 8.2.3.

Will take a look later this afternoon. From past experience you have to clear the iOS  app cache and start from the beginning.

Yes, the My Bt app for iOS now appears to be unresponsive for the Complete Wi-fi  functionality, after the 8.2.3 update. There’s “no help” available at the moment when tapping on the help tab, even........

Needs advanced help from the mods, perhaps.

@Ribblelancs all my troubleshooting efforts have drawn a blank, namely:

  • spoke with BT ‘help’ desk
  • web chat (they hung up)
  • cleared caches, logged out, logged in to app
  • deleted and reinstalled app
  • rebooted network

Could definitely do with some Mod help/comment as it looks like the latest version of the app is borked.

Looks like  BT have fixed the problem. No newer version of the app, but it is now showing 'Your wifi network' with a blue 'new' flash next to it. Presumably a backend fix for the problem.

Just tested it and everything is now back to normal.
