Since I updated the My BT app, on my iPad, on 9th Dec it does not appear to work. If I go close apps screen on iPad there seems to be a login screen for the app but when you touch on it it disappears. If you repeat the process the same thing happens. Have closed the screen and rebooted iPad but problem still exists.
I guess that many of us will have read that this should work on our iPads, and spent some time (possibly hours?) trying to find our own fix. We need BT to either announce its no longer designed for iPads, or find a fix promptly (please!).
Seems ok here since that update. IPad mini 2. iOS 12.4.4.
Are you logging in with a pin? Try login as a new user, using email address and bt I.d.
You can then choose/ set and reuse your old pin. Login is slow at first. Wait for the spinner to stop. Then next time using pin to login it’s better, but can still be slow.
The app doesn’t load that far, just a lovely larger “BT” logo which then immediately closes.
Can't get a login screen!!! Running iOS 10.3.3 (up to date, according to setting) on an iPad 4 (?).
For iPad it’s iOS 12.4.4.
For iPhone it’s iOS 13.3. Both updated this week.
Have you updated? Then try uninstalling the my BT app and reinstall from the store.
32 bit iPads won't update beyond ios10, Apple withdrew support for 32 bit machines sometime ago. If yours is a 32 bit machine then you will not be able to download the latest version of the App
I have been to Settings>Software update and it tells me it is up to date! Either there is something wrong with my iPad or it is now too old for Apple updates. I don't know if you can force an iPad to do up dates?
I have tried deleting the app and then downloading it again from the App Store but the same thing happens. Just checked the compatibility and the version of My BT is compatible with iOS 9.0 and above, so should work with 10.3.3
