New iPhone - can't get Norton Password Manager to sync

Go to solution

I've got a new iPhone and discovered that Norton Password Manager is not syncing with my PC (Win 11, MS Edge).

I've tried uninstalling the app and then reinstalling, but the phone was not receiving the message to unlock the vault from the PC, nor are any changes being synced from the iPhone to PC (or in reverse).   In the last few days, the PC is not even sending the unlock request

I thought about uninstalling from Edge, but this is just clutching at straws and I don't want to lose the vault database.

Any assistance gratefully received.

Harry

Here are a few things to try:

1. **Check Account:** Make sure you're logged into the *exact same* Norton account on both the iPhone app and the Edge extension.
2. **Re-Login:** Try logging *out* completely from the Password Manager on *both* your iPhone and the Edge extension. Then, log back in. This often resets the connection.
3. **Updates:** Ensure both the iOS app and the Edge extension are fully updated.
4. **Edge Extension:** Uninstalling and reinstalling the Edge *extension* is safe. Your vault is tied to your Norton account online, not stored *only* in the extension. It will re-download when you log back in. This might be worth trying if logging out/in doesn't work.

Thanks,  I'll give this a go later over the weekend.

I do make sure both phone and PC are up to date and I've rechecked today.

So I followed the method mahammadsutar81 posted but I'm now stuck as to where to get the MS Edge extension from.   I thought it was on the BT site, but can't find it.   Do I have to download it from Norton?

I've answered my own question - you get it from the Microsoft extensions.   Part of the installation process is to link the mobile app to the extension
