This for your information as I have used the text link option to get the Norton upgrade instead of the QR facility.
Journey taken
From a windows 10 PC used the link to start the Norton upgrade process.
Firefox browser used on PC.
Accessed the upgrade page.
Used the QR code app on phone to obtain the upgrade capturing the QR on the RH side of screen.
QR code took me to a wrong app in google play as described.
The device is runnig Android 10. Motorola Power G7.
