Yep similar situation for me too.
BT system switched my BT Sport off within minutes of me cancelling it, but nearly 12 hours later still waiting for new package & Now TV to come available. Repeatedly tried activating the Now TV, have already got a Now TV account, entered the correct User name (& have checked it has correct email add on account) but I have not received an activation email, and checked spam folder.
What do I do please?
