Parental control problems

I've just returned back to bt broadband and have been trying to set up parental controls, with no success. Once I click the 'on' button, an error message reads, "there was an error when saving the data". The next red message reads, "Sorry, we coudn't turn on your BT Parental Controls. Please try again later." This has been going on for days. I've contacted live chat and an operator on 0800800150 to no avail. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

I'm sorry for the problems you're having managing your Parental Controls.  This isn't something the Community is going to be able to help with so you can send us over your details and we'll give you a hand from here.

Hi @337allan  I have just heard back from the team, they have advised you should be able to activate parental controls now. Could you check this and let me know if this worked?

Hi Stephanie, i tried it just now and the message reads, "Parental Controls is being activated on your account and will be available in the next 24 hours. Please log in again later to manage your account." I'll get back tomorrrow with the outcome. Thanks for all your help too
