Re: BT WiFi unable to opt out

@PaddyB

Hello, I was looking for help with this as I need to stop my kids getting on it when they have been blocked from everything else!

Unfortunately, instructions at https://www.bt.com/help/broadband/how-do-i-opt-out-of-bt-wi-fi-

are out of date. Is there another way?

Re: BT WiFi unable to opt out

If they can login to BTWIFI they have your BTID and password which also gives access to your BT account

just change the password

Re: BT WiFi unable to opt out

Unless the know your MyBT login and password details,  or are paying for access, they cannot use your hotspot.

If they have your login details, then simply change your MyBT password, and they will be unable to login.
