Smart Talk

When I go to Smart Talk settings, and try to delete my account, as this is what I'm supposed to do when reinstalling the app, there is nothing there. No one. 
It says I have 3 accounts, but there is no one active or blocked. 

Can anyone help solve this.

 

Why is this app such a nightmare, surely a multi-billion pound company like BT can make a great idea of an app like this work. I feel like I'm back in the 1990's. 


Its a great idea, but the app is absolute garbage (I'm using a polite word here).

@t8769 the smart talk service is due to be withdrawn in a few months time, we'll be able to help delete the number to allow you to reinstall. Please use the 'click here to contact the mods' link in my forum profile to send in your details. You can find the link by clicking on my username.

Its a pity this app will be stopped - it s great, when it works.

@t8769 No it's being fully withdrawn in December. Since roaming charges no longer apply in the EU and changes with technology available on mobiles it has meant that only a tinny number of customers still actually use the service.

Thanks for following this up.

My account seems to be frozen. I can't delete, add or do anything with it from the phone or website.

Can you please ask them to call me on the number I sent by email message through your link.

Hi @t8769 The smart talk team could not contact you on the number provided but they have contacted me to confirm that they have now removed the active users and the service. If you wish you can now try to set it up again.
