Unable to opt out of BT Fon

Hi,

 

Looking for advice to opt out of BT Fon. I have created a bt email address and tried to log in at

https://www.bt.com/wifi/secure/statuscheck.do

but continue to get the error below even though I recently changed my password  and know it works ok

  • Authentication failed. Invalid username or password.

Any ideas?

The email address has to be assigned as the login details for the account holders MyBT, as only the account holder can alter the settings.

I cannot remember how this is done, but I think its somewhere within MyBT.

Have you tried opting out using your BT ID?
