I sent the email below to BT on 16 September but have not had any response, not even an acknowledgement!

Hi there Earlier today I successfully installed the BT Wi-fi app on my iPad Air tablet. When I came to download it on my Nokia phone, it downloaded OK then asked me to state my user name and password to bt.com which I did. This brought up a message saying that I had used an @btopenworld.com address and asked me, if this was incorrect, to open a bt account. I have had this account for years and apparently this initial signing in went no further. (The same had happened on the tablet but proceeded OK beyond this point and works OK). Please, what should I do to get it working?? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling it to no avail. The phone is a Nokia 8 model T A-1012 running Android 8.1.0. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thanks

Check maybe that email address is linked to your BT id
Solved - by BT. I had to have a BT ID @ btinternet.com not @btopenworld.com!
